To the daily prompt and beyond.

Unplug the brain and recharge your batteries. A re-set is the only way that has ever worked for me. If I stay focused on a negative thought it just multiplies like rabbits and then I am unnecessarily adding more troublesome worries to an already over worked imagination.
Take a shower, take a nap or maybe just take a solitary walk where human reaction is avoided. Tell yourself a old joke or think about something funny from your past. When all else fails pray.

Word Origin - Greek, 14th century
In the neighborhood where Jamie lived, most days were peaceful and fun. During the summer 12 year old Jamie enjoyed going to the park at the end of the block to play. It was on such a fine summer afternoon day in 1999 that Jamie was headed to the park when Karen stopped him.
Karen was the neighborhood’s most beautiful girl and Jamie quickly got nervous and shy every time he was around her. As she started talking to Jamie she asked if he would push her in the swings at the park. Jamie’s heartbeat quickly sped up and as he started to stammer out a reply he caught a glimpse of mischief in Karen’s eye.
Bobby had snuck up behind Jamie and got on his hands and knees behind him. Karen gave him a hard shove and he fell over Bobby hitting his head on the sidewalk. As Bobby and Karen laughed and made fun of Jamie because he was crying an adult showed up and angerly lectured them on why acting like a Hector was so wrong.
