Since I live in such a podunk town the answer is too easy – leave.

I walked into town the other day to mail a couple of books out and was dismayed to see all the empty storefronts. Outside of the factories in town there isn’t much else. We have three gas stations, a ice cream stand, post office and library. There are two thrift shops and a Dollar General, a car wash and boom, your out of town.
