The mind seems to be on vacation for the moment so I am going to get to rambling on and hope some kind of sense will prevail.
When I started this venture in February, I was looking for a way to put some ideas out in the world so that I would be remembered by family and friends after I leave this rock. The Dawghouse has constantly been evolving for the past year, and I cherish the great friends and community support it provides. I’m happy with how I’ve got it so far but I struggle with pages and a navigation bar. Every time I try to do that I lose something else and when I go into the editor the categories on the left show as pages. What you see is what you get. I have learned many things though and while learning this I jump off the deep end and started my book project.
Learning how to do this was intimidating, to say the least. It took a lot of patience and grit to not walk away from this many times but slowly I would learn something and it might apply to both my site and book. Using Word was a stumbling block I despise to this day. I found Canva and never looked back growing by leaps and falls along the way. From learning how to get AI to listen to me for my post images and my cover image to the formatting nightmare learning curves, I sniffed out the landmines of font sizing. I did however overcome those blocks and am releasing this in 29 days. I am growing daily in the knowledge of gratitude.
By doing prompts by friends or the daily prompts and just posting I have learned how to make some decent images with AI, here a few I like.
So in answering today’s prompt without being self righteous I will say that I am a man who has have made a positive impact on my own life.
