I am sharing part of an email from a dear friend and asking for prayers to be sent his way. This year has dealt him a harsh hand and all help is appreciated. I edited this out of the email to share with you.

Hey Ernie,

On another front, I also had an appointment with a neurosurgeon about my back in that time frame. To that end, I am currently preparing to go into surgery next week on 7/22 for a lower lumbar fusion. It’s pretty much unavoidable at this point as I have minimal feeling or strength left in my leg and it won’t heal on its own or get better with age lol.

 I hope the WP gang is alright.  I worry about and think about all of you often. Please give them my best wishes and if you have an extra prayer kicking around I could definitely use it
