Universally it is known that R.E.M. brings Velocious eye moment behind the lids during the unusual body movements that accompany dreams. I rarely remember the dreams I have in deep sleep but once in a while they linger in the waking moments, usually reveling bits and pieces of what was.

I fell into a dream last night that found me living for a week on Route 66. I saw all the greats and enjoyed having coffee with many of them during this extraordinary time. Right before leaving this world my final conversation was with ‘Doc Hudson’ who informed me that success was always within reach if I believed in myself strongly enough.

The problem I had all along was that I kept waiting for the light, not realizing I was the spark. Upon leaving Radiator Springs I awoke with a new belief in myself and what I am doing in life.
