A Little of This

I might as well ramble for a minute. Have you ever found a point where you just want to admit total defeat and quit? I’m sure we all have been there {I know I have many times}. I am at a crossroads with my AI journey. I understand the new laws being implemented and agree that they are needed for control of the mass slop flooding the air waves. I also understand Suno and other platforms putting Strick rules in place.

After September everyone in Suno will have a download limit, with a Pro account I will be limited to 20 a month. I’m okay with this too as I don’t download that many anyway. I have went in there and downloaded many since this announcement as they are unlimited before then and I don’t want my work trapped in their site. This doesn’t mean I am going to churn out a shit ton of stuff before then either. Just removing ones I think I’ll use in my DAW and since I’ve paid for them, why not?

With that said Let’s go back to the question; I have been trying to use my voice and sing these songs I’ve made and while sometime I think I might be getting somewhere, when I play them back, listening to them I sound like shit. 🥹

Practice makes perfect right? maybe, maybe not which brings me to the next mind boggling question I am struggling with. Do I put them out with the generated voice I use or keep trying to make them right? I don’t have to make this decision today so more of weighing my options is in order, enough of the Electric Evolution ramble.

What about this humidity? Is everyone having a problem this year with it? Is has been stuck in the 70-90% range most of the summer here. You don’t hear me complain about summer weather very often {I save that for snowball season} 😉

Another thing I try to avoid is politics but it does hold front and center in the news everyday. Today, let’s talk about bullshit news that we hear every year. Inflation skyrocketing, prices are on a steady climb all year until the third quarter comes out and then miraculously right before they adjust the cola things suddenly change and employment is on the rise, inflation is gone and new charges will be added to Medicare at the beginning of the next year. I see today that the Medicare Advantage program is going to be taken away from thousands, thanx Donald! 💩 Along with this I saw something about part D disappearing as well. {end rant}
