I got a great surprise today!

I started out not wanting to do a post and ended up with one I liked, so the day started out on a good note. Then it started raining, which was a good thing, knocking down the humidity. The coffee wasn’t Starbucks, but it was Folger’s Black Silk, which is my second choice. I finished the pot and jumped back in bed for about an hour, then proceeded to start the second half of my day.

The second pot lasted a little longer as I was caffeine cruising already. I got two packages today, one from Amazon and the other from eBay. I have been waiting on these so I can move forward with Electric Evolution! I got a set of Sony earbuds and a new/used HP laptop. I now have this one for everything I do and the new one exclusively for my music.

Every time I wanted to run my songs from my DAW to my stereo I had to unplug as my wires wouldn’t reach. When I did this I would lose the Focus controller 2 and it wouldn’t send the signal to my Pioneer. That was just serving to disrupt any creative mood, replacing it with anger as it usually takes 3-4 hours for me to get the programs downloaded and set back up to work right. PROBLEM SOLVED!!

I piddled around until 4:20 or so getting my browsers and apps installed and then setting it up next to the stereo. I have my Focusrite solo between them and everything is rockin like I wanted it to, HURRAY!!

I also have happy feet as yesterday I filed my applications for BMI (Billboard Music) and my LLC licence for Peaceful-Threads!! These are BIG accomplishments for me to finally see come to fruitation. Now I have to wait ten days to see if I get them (patience my ass!)

As I wind down for the day I am in a extremely haapy mood knowing tomorrow I can start recording my first track. This is a ‘on to the next’ that makes me quiver inside and feel all tingly.
