MUSIC COMMUNITY INTRODUCES NEW LABELING PROGRAM TO DISTINGUISH GENERATIVE AI IN SOUND RECORDINGS

It’s about time that something was introduced to clearly identify how the use of artificial intelligence is being used in music. After all the hype settles down and minds turn to the next big issue for people to hate on, this feature will help the ones that don’t mind people using some AI in their endeavors.

I support this design and will gladly add it to my cover work. I especially like the idea of separating how AI is used by having the two symbols. The solid black one showing everything was generated with AI, while the white one symbolizing that human talent of one kind or another is being mixed with AI.

This will be a snappy feature if you hate the idea of the song you just liked is found to be AI and you just can not imagine ever listening to that AI slop again. [yes I’m being sarcastic]

I do believe that the symbol is needed like the Parental Advisory was when it came out. Both help to easily identify albums or songs that you might not want to listen to saving you both time and money. I really hope the world’s music scene all adapts these symbols with an open mind.

With that said I am closing this post with a dust collector I made when first starting this journey.
