I just haven’t felt like writing a post for the last couple of days.

I’ve been bouncing in and out of reader and comments but have fell short of responding like I should. I seem to do this often when I fall into this mood of I have nothing worth saying or writing about.

I’m sitting here Jonsing for a cigarette as it is that time of the year where I try to quit the nicotine AGAIN… the feelings do subside but man can they mess with my mind until they do.

I’ve had to put my recording of my vocals on hold for another week or so as I wait on two products needed to finish the cleaning and demagnetizing of my reel to reel unit. As it is over 50 years old there is a little maintenance that needs done and finding a shop to take it to is next to impossible for the area I live in.

I do manage to practice my vocals on a daily routine and am happy about the progress I am making with that. I don’t sound like an out of breath, off key hound howling anymore and have found a sweet spot for my distance from the mic so there’s that!

I had secured the name for my band “Peaceful Outlaw” a while ago and announced it here but was never satisfied with it. I have constantly been searching for a name that would feel… more comfortable to me and highlight what I am trying to do with AI. I have settled on another for now but if you follow me you know construction is always changing lanes in the dawghouse, err Peaceful-threads so I’m not releasing it until I’m sure it’s the one.

I am hoping to get my recording done and released by the end of the year. I have eleven songs ready to have vocal tracks put on them and then I will be releasing my album, it will be AI generated music behind my real voice. I’ll see how I like the finished product and decide if I have wasted almost a year on this project and countless dollars to achieve my goal. So far I think not. I was happy when my books dropped but never pursued any real marketing on them and let’s face it, I’m completely satisfied with that. The achievement of learning everything I did was amazing to me and when AJ Wilson turned my attention to Suno a another exciting challenge presented itself.

My insomnia had me feeling like a fox on the run. I dusted off my stereo and dared to record what would become more than AI slop. After nine months of this I have started to become a fan of making music with Suno and moving toward producing my own album. I’ve recently tried adding a tambourine to the mix. [60]
