No, it’s not X rated.
I was thinking about my childhood last night and started thinking about barbershops. I’m talking about the neighborhood kind that didn’t know anything about salons or perms, the kind where old men would sit around bullshitting or reading while waiting for a trim.

Then it hit me. Time to shed the winter coat I grew and get a summer trim, Dawgy style.

So I grabbed the clippers and razor and went to town.
This is the dawgs winter coat and my summer coat. I feel naked but it sure is cooler.

On to today’s post.

As a young boy I was hit in the forehead by a line drive fastball while playing first base. After that moment I was scared to play baseball. My dad told me that to overcome my fears I needed to pay attention to what pitch was being thrown.I learned to stand back a little bit and perch my body forward so I wouldn’t be peppered by a sharp line drive again or to go out and play centerfield.”
