I seem to be feeling ennui this morning. After getting lost in a pretty good run with two of my projects I suddenly feel bored and dissatisfied, longing for something fresh. The early tease of spring didn't help as winter is raising it's ugly head again which was expected but doesn't make it any better.
My mind is bulbous with ideas for completing my first album using my poetry and AI generated music. This process has had me extremely busy through the cold, blustery winter in Michigan. I’ve lost myself in trying to find a genre I feel comfortable in and learning everything I can to make this happen.
The other project I am lost in is trying to get my car running. It died after the first storm of December and has been giving me fits ever since. DAMN a hybrid car! This happened last year and took until spring to figure it out.
I didn’t start out this morning to write a rant but this seems to be where the challenge took me, sorry bout that.
On a happier note 🎵 I am excited that my song ‘BOOM BOOM BOOM’ has been so warmly received. Without trying to promote it the song is slowly gaining traction on the YouTube circuit after being put into rotation, THANKS YOUTUBE!!!
With that happening I decided to put it out on the airwaves and it will become live on April 8th on all the stations like Spotify, IHeart, Amazon etc… This is exciting for me even though I confess I am no musician, just an old dawg with a vision. Is my vision impaired? Hell, probably but with old age comes senility and with a life long attitude of “‘I do it my way and if I fail so what, I roll with the changes” I am adapting to the ever changing world of evolution with you guys by my side.
