What are your goals this year ?

This is a better question than the original for me as I’m not in the mood for a rant today.

My goals aren’t set in concrete but more like set in the clouds of my vivid imagination. I usually do not try and set goals for to much as they are kinda like resolutions, easily set aside and forgotten.

My main goal last year was to publish my two books which came about after many trials and errors. a few other goals were reached as well like having this blog feel comfortable and look pleasing to my eyes. [Okay I truthfully must admit the constrution is ongoing but hey, it’s fun, it’s me].

And speaking of fun. My new project in adding the Dawghouse Dial, WBRK 103.3 DM came about after learning about and diving into AI generated music. I’ve had a YouTube channel since Sept 2021. It has sat idle with one post on it, [an instruction video for growing bonsai marijuana plants/trees]. Since I started the songs I enjoy making I have deleted that video and started putting music videos up.

I have been having fun doing these songs and have [to me] a lot of filler songs. I was excited to see my latest song “Boom Boom Boom” going mainstream on YouTube and finding it’s way into their rotation, gaining traction. [over 300 hits in a week!].

So is this a new goal? maybe but out of this I did find a goal I have to look into more closely, copywrite infringement. I see a trend where people are taking videos from YouTube and copying them, changing the title and putting them out on Distro kid and other platforms like it to make it theirs by getting a ISRC and then monetizing them.

I have been doing this for fun and probably don’t have anything to worry about but it is a goal to protect my work, why should hackers be able to make money off something I offer to listen to for free?

Other goals?

To keep building my faith, maintain the Dawghouse and it’s new Dawghouse Dial and maybe, just maybe, find a happy medium and quit changing the look of this site. 😂😂😂 that might just be the funniest thing you hear today.
