Silly me. I was expecting a daily having something to do with groundhog day.
Why would you post this on Groundhog day? Are you suggesting we try BBQ groundhog? It’s bad enough that since 1887 people have come to believe that a groundhog can and will declare the weather based on his shadow. I think based on his back sounds more realistic. A subtle mixture of brown sugar and paprika might be the start of a new trend.
Groundhog gravy should be used on this day, I mean they use giblet gravy on Thanksgiving right? Eight to ten weeks, spring will arrive as it usually does whether he sees his shadow or not.
How was that for a wake up call? Coffee is starting to wake me up after a restless 3 hours of sleep. I woke up with feet cramps twice and after the second round I roasted those brown bean beauties into the magic sauce of liquid delight I so much enjoy. Is this considered cooking? “Roast’ is the magic word in brewing this magnificent molasses looking mud we all consume. And let’s be honest here, roasting is a term for cooking isn’t it?, therefore it should fall into the class of cooking, and I love cooking me some coffee.
Fried is another term we use to describe a cooked food and I have been frying my brain on high for the last month or so, trying to move forward in my new hobby, so much so that I have burnt out the mind. Is this a case of being over cooked?
Fried brain and scrambled eggs anyone? This is a breakfast I enjoyed as a child but now a days when I fry the mind is it usually on that beautiful green spice of love, so yeah I enjoy cooking, more specifically ‘Baking” even though it might not be in the style of normalcy. And please don’t get me started on bacon…
