And So It Grows

Get your mind out of the gutter, this is not what you’re thinking 😂

A brawling drunk who has fought his way through life in a haze of flying fists steps into the ring of the champion not even remotely realizing he is outmatched. The champ stands quietly in the corner waiting, silently watching the drunken fool stumble and trip to the middle of the ring. Wild punches are tossed in anger missing their target as the champ knows in advance of what is coming.

Round one ends with the champion not delivering a single blow, yet winning the round. As they sit in the heavy silence of desperation and sweat, time ticks slowly bringing the sound of the bell to start round two. Dancing around the square circle, the champ tires of this unprepared fool and his incessant and inane dance routine delivering a TKO with one swift blow.

The result was devastating for a man who had lost hope in life, ending a life long passion of living hard and fast. This TKO had almost cost him his life and left bruises implanted on his mind along with a life changing operation requiring him to examine his beliefs with the intensity of a laser.

After wondering slowly and pitifully in a haze of desperation for three years this old soul was blessed to run into the champion again and with compassion the champ offered a path of healing, a sancuary of love and hope accomplished only by showing dedication, love and forgivness of his fellow man.

It started with a sign.

Realizing that the square circle of hops and finely chopped powder would no longer satisfy his hunger and thrist for direction the beaten man opted to pursue a different path, a path of peacefullness, answers to quiet the insanity of a losers life.

With a spark of curiousity and a dash of hope he bent down and asked for forgiveness and direction in moving forward, hoping to be invited into the grace of the champion. Trails and tribulations followed on a slow journey of understanding, a new sport of compassion that was confusing at the beginning eventually brought clairity shining down on me.

After several years of searching I have been blessed with the ability to dance in a ring again, although not square and empowered by violence this ring has victory in reach and I feel like a contender who has defeated the evil of self doubt and has been showed the road of understanding my purpose in life. To define peaceful insanity and know my savior is within everything I do.

Have a blessed day my friends.
