I stared at this and stared at this and stared into oblivion before starting an answer.
This answer is not really thought out as much as just coming off the top of my head three cups in.
I have became a loner since retiring so I am not around very many people anymore. Right now it is too damn cold to be outside so that leaves me with you guys!!! I know we are not around each other physically but mentally we spend time together everyday so in my altered mind that counts as a more than a plus.
I enjoy the thoughts and views of everyone I follow and yes there are days that I don’t really converse as much as I should but the like button works okay in those times.
The more time I spend in public the more I detest the people I come into contact with as negativity runs rampant these days. Most people in society are quick to run everyone down that doesn’t see things from their point of view or more common, wanting to complain about every aspect of their day.
I have always kept a close circle of friends and this poem from Silent Screams felt fitting to answer this prompt today. I hope you enjoy it.
This little gem was written back in 1995 when the pressure of people telling me what they thought was right for me was overwhelming to say the least.
I guess the proper answer would be the three people who have [somewhat] stayed in contact with me. My oldest son Derek, my oldest friend/brother Neil and my cuz Dan. Of course I am still sticking with the first answer…YOU!!!
