Get Some Sunday Rhythm

I started this mornings cruise over at The Beginning at Last to celebrate EVH’s birthday. What a party to attend I tell ya!!! Fantastic tunes jumping off the page.

I could/should show the ‘Jump’ video here but nope not today. Instead I am presenting a song off one of my favorite albums of theirs. OU812 with Sammy singing instead of Dave . Happy Birthday Eddie R.I.P.

Like any curious dawg I enjoy a bouncing ball, it grabs my attention and this morning my attention is bouncing around like a red rubber ball.

The red ball in the sky is hiding this morning so this path will have to go forward in the dark or maybe candlelight. It sure seems like I am doing a video post today and it might be, What do I know on my second cup of life?

Speaking of life, it seems that in the course of this fantastic journey certain things require a maintaining of memory while others seek to fall into a void where they only pop up in the silence of peaceful moments turning them into turmoil.

The coffee has fueled this altered mind so today you will find more of a peaceful turmoil instead of a raging complaint, ‘you all a bunch of lucky dawgs’.

I never finished in reader this morning after receiving my invite to that fab birthday bash so maybe that will be re-visited later in the day. Speaking of re-visiting things I have started Chantix again in the hopes of ending a life long relationship with nicotine, why couldn’t I stay in a human relationship as long? Probably because this silent killer is just that, silent. [No offense intended to all you ladies out there.]

Where do I go from here? First things first, the coffee pot for re-fueling. Since I do not feel like cooking anything including my brain a wake and bake will not be happening on this Sunday morning.

Instead I leave you with a couple of facts of what happened today. Info from History.com & Wikipedia.

1837 – Michigan became the 26th U.S. state admitted to the union. Michigan is the only one of the states to be split into two large land segments: the sparsely populated but mineral-rich Upper Peninsula (commonly called โ€œthe U.P.โ€) and the mitten-shaped Lower Peninsula reaches northward from Indiana and Ohio. The two landmasses have been connected since 1957 by โ€œBig Mac,โ€ the 5-mile (8-km) Mackinac Bridge across the Straits of Mackinac, which separate Lake Michigan on the west from Lake Huron on the east.

1971 – In Los Angeles, California, cult leader Charles Manson is convicted, along with followers Susan Atkins, Leslie Van Houten, and Patricia Krenwinkle, of the brutal 1969 murders of actress Sharon Tate and six others.

1980 – Paul McCartneyโ€™s arrival at Tokyoโ€™s Narita International Airport on January 16, 1980, marks his first visit to Japan since the Beatles tour of 1966. The occasion was a planned 11-city concert tour by his band Wings. Instead, Paulโ€™s visit was limited to a nine-day stint in the Tokyo Narcotics Detention Center, which ended on January 25, 1980.

Okay, I thought I was going to close this post with a video from Wings and while thinking of which song to pick out I listen to Helter Skelter and upon hearing it I decided a wake and bake was happening after all and then the mind says to close the post with this video instead.
