Last Friday

This being the last Friday of the calendar year I have to pull off this exit and look at the Atlas of life.

As I enjoy the Starbuck sunrise on this last Friday of the year I pause to reflect on where I’ve been and what I would like to see in the next part of this journey.

I opened the dawghouse in February and have watched it grow way beyond any expectations I had dreamed possible. Finding great friends and mentors along this path has afforded me peace of mind.

You guys have helped me open up and share my altered opinions and the NTT helped showcase my writing abilities. Challenges from friends have made me use my imagination to the hilt and telling you about my past here and there has brought a sense of contentment to my soul.

I am amazed to find people enjoy my poems and being published on various sites always feels good so thank you SpillWords for being the first to do this. The collaborations I have been involved in are interesting in seeing how other minds can share thoughts to bring a story to life and really hope to do more of these in the coming year.

AI has become a hobby and I enjoy using them for the most part. I started out with some lame images but this has changed and now I am for the most part happy with what they come up with. Below are three random images from this year.

Over the course of the year I lost two important people in my life. My uncle Kenny passed after a long healthy life and a brother Ron Johnston passed way to young. R.I.P. to both of you amazing souls. I have also lost contact with family members who are too busy living life to worry about an old dawg like me but there are family members out there that just don’t give up on tossing me a bone, mucho love to you!!!

Ghostwriter and Starpup were both brought to life this year from comments from Black Moon Lilith, Sirius Sea, Drops of Ink and a whispering roar from the lion Willie Torres Jr. Thank you to the ladies and Willie for the inspiration. Boomcha! I just love saying that Kymber, thank you for fun prompts. I can not list all of the people I am grateful for here so I say to all of you, THANX!!!

The future finds me standing in line for a ride on the Ferris Wheel of life anticipating the coming year of ups and downs.

Having two books being released in the coming months is a blessing I never dreamed possible and hope it meets the exaptation’s of the readers who purchase them.

Finding growth in a positive way is also an exciting aspect to look forward to next year and with that I want to apologize to those I have wronged not only on this site but in life. Last but certainly not least I want to thank my savor for the blessings of forgiveness and for showing me a better path to live on. Thank you Lord.

Ernie, my Brother, what a wonderful, heartfelt post. Your achievements this year, A Published Book, The Dawghouse, Your Poetry, Collaborations, and AI works, are truly inspiring.

I’ll never forget how you helped me when I was new to WordPress and AI images. You helped a stranger, and now I’m honored to call you my Brother.

Your strength, gratitude, and positivity shine through in everything you do. I’m proud to be part of your journey. I know your books will touch many, and I’m excited for what’s to come.

Here’s to a New Year filled with growth, adventures, health, and all the ups and downs of the ride.

Peace, Love, and Oatmeal Raisin Cookies.
