Birth of a Lullaby

Hush Little Puppy

You sit in the grandstand listening to the crowd
John Force heats the tires up driving you wild
The Christmas tree waits for them to line up
And in doing so the crowd quietly shuts-up
In the moments before those lights go green
A hush is heard across this National racing scene
Just like that a new lullaby is written for you to see
So hush little puppy if you please

Hush now puppy don't you cry
I'll ease your troubles by lullaby
Now a puppy, someday you'll understand
That we all want and need the sandman
The sandman visits us every night
Placing sand in the eyes so you'll sleep tight
Lay you're little mind at ease
And hush little puppy if you please

Dream sweet dreams about meaty ham bones
With a side of Kibbles and Bits in a happy home
Chase your tale round and round in this dream
Mark that fire hydrant with a flowing golden stream
A circle of puppies all running and chasing a ball
The perfect dream is being played inside your skull
Your little legs kick and a bark is heard in the breeze
So hush little puppy if you please

Here ya go Laura as close to it as AI would let me.

After a rough patch this morning I went back to visit the sandman for a bit and when I woke up and poured another first cup of madness I felt better and with that feeling came this post. Did you sing it?

This thought was brought on by a song Phoebe posted that caught my eye.

Have a most excellent day my friends and stay Brown Bean Blessed.
