A Call to Us All

Back in March I did my first book review, a review on Dawn Pisturino’s book “Ariel’s Song”, a great read in my opinion. Today I am trying it again with Willie Torres Jr. book “The Latter Times of Being Crazy for Christ”.

Everyone struggles with the concept of faith and “are we good enough” for redemption. Many different views are offered as to how you must live now to get to heaven then. This book is not one of them.

Willie takes us inside his personal journey and beliefs and offers thoughts of reflection that resonate deeply and weave in and out of thoughts of my own on religion and beliefs.

Inside this book you will find a shining light in the ever growing world of darkness we now live in. Willie’s faith pours forth from these pages and kept me captivated from the beginning to the end reflecting on a strong faith and the struggle of the journey in finding Christ.

Chapter seven ” Time with God” hit me hard as I found similarities in my thoughts concerning Gods mercy and the grace we receive from him on a minute by minute basis.

“It’s not about becoming a Christian; it’s about becoming the son of God, about spending time with him” This little gem echoed deeply with me as this was a BIG block before I opened my heart and let Jesus walk in.

Willie Torres Jr. has brought us a road map of peace, love, forgiveness, and hope. We just need to read it and stay on the righteous path to redemption

In closing I will leave you with one more quote from this fantastic read, “God does not require our prayer, he deserves it”. Job well done Willie.
