Slow Moving Sunday

This post is going to bounce around this morning as my mind is slowly spinning in circles.

A Little Twisted

The things I write all come from an altered mind
So as you read them remember to be kind
As you go on this little journey thoughts will soon appear
And it will become apparent this is how I shed my tears
So laugh not at me because I'm already feeling down
It is just a way to reach out from a sad sad clown.

I wrote that back in 1980 when I started keeping my poems in a scrape book and decided to post it today. It’s not that I’m down or sad but more like a “Slow Moving Sunday”.

2024- I’m still trying to figure out where the Daily Prompt shows up besides in reader’s recent posts. I find it once in awhile when I open reader but usually it’s elusive.

Running on Empty

I’ve always like Jackson Browne and this one seems to fit my Slow Moving Sunday idea so I put it in here today, enjoy.

Some days finds me running on empty in different ways, today my mind is running slow and near empty as my post suggests in the bouncing around where as other days finds my body running on empty or the more frequently running on empty, my gas tank.
