“I See Ya Peeking”

Bragging? Hell No, Celebrating! These baby steps I enjoy today will become milestones on this journey into blogging. I have previously posted on my frustration while building this site {WordPress and Me and #2}. I would backlink to them but that is still an elusive lesson yet to learn.

Baby Steps

Barring any unforeseen reasons, this blog should find steady growth through it’s journey. Stumbling blocks are bound to trip me up but that’s all good, part of the process of growth.

I looked at domain names when I decided to do this and Seconds Out was sold out on all platforms – .com .org etc… I thought it would make a grand name but, oh well on to the next as a great friend would say.

Once I figured out how to get the like and comments sections to work {whew} I thought I was on Sweet St. but not quite as I found myself still learning how to dodge Pot Hole Road .

The next couple of lessons were indeed baby steps and left me with a growing knowledge of WordPress blogging. What I am working on now is how to build interaction with you guys, so here goes…

“It’s a toss up between Mr. Whipple and Beef Tongue Tacos to me “

Stumbling Blocks

This whole experience is about “blocks”. I am still confused on building pages vs. posts and categories but they seem to be working good so “don’t fix it” seems to come into play.

I have learned to add a timer to each post, install the copyright symbol, and now I can go crazy with crowd signal-hooray!

Come on now, it won’t hurt and it’s free!

I have achieved the hurdle of gallery’s {I think} but there are a shit ton of widgets, plug-ins and others that shouts a Rolling Stone title at me “Time is on my Side” or in others words, Slow wins the race.

My next project is to tackle back-linking to my older posts and other bloggers I follow so good stories from other views can be shared here.

Update on 4/6/24 this was added, thanx
