A rivalry continues after this quick message from our sponser.
I’m still breathing so there’s that. What else… I think that publishing two books and working on my music would be the answer to this today. Now back to the scheduled post.
Where Do We Go Now?
We’re headed to Neyland stadium today to revise the third weekend rivalry with Tennessee. ROLL TIDE! Alabama leads the all-time series against Tennessee with a record of 61 wins, 40 losses, and 7 ties (61–40–7).
In 1970 the SEC ruled that visiting teams wear white jerseys when playing. This is being overturned in this years matchup as well as next year when Tennessee visits us at home.
So today we invade the Vols territory wearing the famous crimson red jerseys. With a couple of players on the injury list this game could be closer than I expect but you know the saying ‘On any given Saturday’, I mean look at the calls last week that robbed us of a chance to move up the ranks by giving Georgia the win.
Half way through the season we are standing in pretty good shape for a spot in the playoffs. Catch all the action as No. 6 Alabama Crimson Tide (5–1, 3–1 SEC) meets No. 14 Tennessee Volunteers (5–1, 2–1 SEC) airs at 3:30 EST on ABC. Be there or be a true Vols fan and read about the game on tomorrows newsfeed. ROLL TIDE ROLL
