My Town
In In Pedigree Park Michigan life was pretty chill, a small burg sitting in the middle of nowhere life seems to crawl by every day. People would greet you in a warm way when passing you on the street or carry on conversations with strangers openly. A small town where honesty and genuine hospitality walked hand in hand.
Visitors to Pedigree Park were amazed by the vitality and warmness they encountered at the diner or the small attractions found throughout the town and some eagerly extended their stay for a weekend.
The three motels in town all had little menus in the rooms advertising carry out dives that delivered fresh pizza and alcohol for your convenience. Most travellers didn’t read the fine print on the bottom of the menus though and just assumed this town was like any other.
Karen was one of the people who didn’t read the fine print and after ordering a pizza and six pack late Saturday night she quickly learned why The town had one rule: never open the door after midnight. A 7-foot-tall, bipedal canine with the torso of a man, glowing amber and blue eyes, and a terrifying, human-like scream was waiting outside the door with a delivery from Dogman’s pizza and deli.
