This weekend is our monthly Colour Challenge, and for August 2025, we have selected the colour BROWN, last used here on August 3rd, 2024.

One habit that brings me joy is grounding the Starbuck brown beans into the syrup of life. This morning as I filled my pot with water and smelled the aroma of fresh ground love boil, I stood at the window looking out at the small group of trees in the yard. A big white rabbit was gazing intently at me and told me life was a farce. There had to be more in life than just being a fecund and eating lettuce. As I turned to fill my cup with the joys of life I watched the rabbit go down a hole and before disappearing she whispered to me that if I mentioned this to anyone they would ridicule me to no end.
