It’s That Time of the Year

The first part of this is re-posted from last year when I was first starting out on WordPress.

Happy Birthday Bro, I Miss Ya!

Andy was three years my senior and he passed back in 2015 from cancer. He was a cool dude that was right with his Lord and a great Santa in the season.

He was also a pain in the ass. Ask anyone who has a older sibling close to their age and I believe you will find similar responses.

I grew up in the shadows of five older siblings, that’s right the baby of the bunch. Now that’s not all that it is cracked up to be. let’s set that in stone straight away.

Anyway he taught me life lessons both good and bad but a quick story about us at around 12 and 9 years of age. He had got me in trouble with my Dad for who the shit remembers why,

So we were at the corner store buying candy and such one Sunday and he decides to steal this fudgesicle and stuffs it down the front of his pants and keeps telling me we got to go…Oh hell no, that wasn’t happening.

I keep talking to the old lady that owned the place for around another 5 minutes, (oh did I mention it was mid-summer before air conditioning existed!) It melted about half way before we left so yea I had to pay for that at a later date…

So as today opens with fairly good weather I remanence about you bro.
