Whew… I got scart for a minute there and had to read it again, and again to make sure. Kinda like you looking at that word and thinking it should be “scared” right?
Truthfully I am sure I have. More times than I would like to consider. It would be easier to answer the prompt I thought I saw. 😉
One comes to mind though. Michigan has a way of changing the helmet law every ten years or so and once I was riding in Indiana without one as I prefer. We crossed into Michigan and rode around some backroads and found a diner to stop at for lunch. As we were getting ready to leave two Stateies were walking by us to the entrance. They looked at us like we were crazy and asked where our lids were. Oops.
We didn’t know Michigan had changed their law and were caught red handed. The officers left us go since we were only a short distance from the line and assured them it would not happen again.
