Nashville’s Sad Song: The Roll Tide Blues

Nashville has long been known as a town that produces many sad songs. Today, it will hopefully produce another one by the Commodore’s.

A great band in it’s day, but since we are talking football the Commodores are singing a different tune. Players who last defeated the Crimson Tide on this team are nearing retirement age. The last meeting in Nashville was in 2017. It ended with a Roll Tide romp of 59-0.

Overall, the series has played out well for Alabama. They have a record of 63-18-4 all-time advantage over the Commodores. This head-to-head match up dates back to 1903. The Commodores’ last win over the Crimson Tide was in 1984.

So with that said, there are only two things left to say today.

  1. Congrats to the Oregon Ducks for a dominant 31 – 10 win. They played a Big Ten match up against Michigan State. Dillon Gabriel raised some questions. As the transfer QB, he threw a pair of picks in the red zone in the first half. Oregon needs to step up if they want to stay undefeated next week against the Ohio State crybaby’s. Good luck ducks!
  2. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!
