Out of the Smoke

Another fantastic picture from Kevin @ The Beginning at Last
There is smoke rising south of the Brazos
Coming up from the Texas coast
A sassy witch heading to the rescue
Of a friends twisted humorous post

She emerges with a vengeance of redheaded anger
To hold no punches in what she has to say
The potions she has brewing in her mind
She brings forth with words of anger and praise

Joining her in her righteous vision of freedom
Are more friends that seemingly agree with her view
A fierce lion standing beside her in this battle
Will deliver a righteous word or maybe two

So here's to my friends that understand my plight
Of having fun on a smooth marijuana high
And to the leader of this band of warriors I say
Stay unfocused and keep the sparkle in your eye

I shared this on Phoebe’s post because you shared and wrote about the incident, and I wanted to share what I posted there.

This world is messed up enough to have people elevate themselves and feel they have the right to criticize and judge anyone. Unlike Phoebe, I have seen the inside of the church, and I try to share scripture when I’m led to but even with that, I am no better than the person next to me; in fact, I may be worse. But I claim that.

Even Simon Peter when he realized what had happened, he fell to his knees before Jesus and said, “Oh, Lord, please leave me—I’m such a sinful man.”

This is how we humble ourselves not in a way to bring down anyone no matter what they post.
There is only one who should be elevated and only one who is lifted up high, and who ever criticized any of my dear friends, I’m NOT sorry to say, you are not above anyone and have no right to judge. Instead of tearing down, lead them to righteousness and humility and humbleness.

    Romans 14:19
So, let’s agree to use all our energy in getting along with each other. Help others with encouraging words; don’t drag them down by finding fault.

Keep doing what you are doing Brother, We Got Your Back !!!

    1. Thank you so much Willie, I don’t understand why people do this but hey, I tried to take it with a grain of salt. I remember something like this happening early in my journey here, I think it was on a series I did on the seven sins but back then I didn’t reply just trashed the comment.
