I found this post this morning and don’t know if it had been posted or not seeing how it was sitting in the drafts section so if I have posted it before I’m sorry, the mind is still waking up but it is sounding fine for a Thursday and the only thing I changed was this intro.
Yesterday
This is the most notable thing that happened to me today…
Starting off with Starbucks…Of course everyday starts off with Starbucks in this house, most of the time anyway. Woke up feeling pretty good and rolled out of bed when the pain set in. It’s expected and so I get the mud flowing into my cup and open the reader to find this prompt and think to myself, “what possible notable things could have happened today? it’s only 5:22 in the a.m.” And since yesterday was notable to me it just seemed right to start there.
Today on the other hand brings a light gentle rain to greet my rising this morning with promises of a hot and humid day to follow.
Today
My blog calendar tells me that Thursday is open mic night or I can write about any subject I wish to.
The problem you ask? My mind is drawing a total blank today.
Is this notable enough to write about? Maybe, but is it worthy enough to post for you guys to read? Not sure but that is the amazing thing about blogs, sometimes you hit a home run while other times you roll a gutter ball.
Space Travel
When you hear “Space Travel” do you think of aliens and spaceships, yeah I do to most of the time but then again, other times it comes as a surprise to find that a musical note represents what my mind is trying to say.
How’s this for notable? I can dig it! NO you say? I mean it does talk to me about space travel but if it’s not your cup of tea maybe this is more in tune to your tastes.
A reach back into the past and see what you can see kind of thing. Still not your cup of tea? Might I suggest switching to coffee? It might give you the boosters for a better lift-off!
Is it Shining?
Since I have taken you down to the gutter and out in space, my altered mind now thinks about shiny things like pennies in the gutter or a shining star in space or maybe…
Diamonds shine forever right? Space travel has to be a long trip so bearing that in mind I bring you to the last section of today’s post or a final song or two to fit my perspective of closing this open mic post.
