It’s About You

The notes of boogie float across my mind
And about you I want to share a rhyme
Letting you know just how I feel
When your words show me you are being real

From things that are old and poems that are new
Through each one I've come to know a little of you
Piece by peace we teach each other about our journeys
Bonds soon replace mistrust and then we have no worries

Laughter you bring to me wanting nothing in return
You serenade me with words and from you I learn
Days of sadness mixed with a glimpse of salvation found
Sharing those tribulations and trials of being down

My mind expands daily when in your stories I read
My heart is touched by happiness by much of what I see
Sorrow happens too and and you are there to console
By reaching out to each other we can all become whole

So thank you my WordPress friends on this gracious day
As I write these few words to show you a little praise
There isn't any two ways about what I'm trying to say
You guys rock and really make my each and every day
