Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep

Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep

Now I lay me down to sleep

Nightmare dreams I once again fear to greet

As I drift into a brand new realm

My eyelids flutter but I remain calm

I witness a turtle running by real fast

And a fat Queen bee served up under glass

How can a conch be seen upstream?

Because it can live in fresh water in this dream

The trees are all orange from what I can see

And there are caterpillar’s two stepping all around me

I hear the music playing somewhere faint and far away

Sounds like some blues tune from a long ago day

A team of mosquito’s went by pulling a sled of cheese

Followed by a pair of grasshoppers saying puff and pass please

This was turning into quite amazing entertainment indeed

No nightmares could enter as I was protected by a dozen centipedes
