No bees buzzing, hummingbirds not in flight
It’s a star lit wonder in the middle of the night
A magical moon shines, throwing down soft light
I run to your arms, anticipating holding you tight
So much for what was
Time to get a buzz
I lost the rhyme
And as far as sonnets go, there is not much I can do
I never tried to travel across those rough waters
The rhymes inside my head are like a storm at sea
Waves rushing to throw me into the vast unknown
Limerick’s and Tercet, sonnets too
What’s a mind like mine to do
Confusion is nothing that is new
I’ll see these words are put down for you
