A Tall Order

Replacing the most productive kicker in Alabama football history is a tall task, but if there is anyone who can do its transfer kicker Graham Nicholson. Will Reichard might have broke the NCAA record for most points scored, but Nicholson beat him out for the Lou Groza Award.

For those that are unaware of the most honorable award there is in all of college athletics, the Groza award goes to the nation’s most renowned and exquisite kicker who shows the most precise demonstration of how to kick a football perfectly through the goalposts.

Yes, the winner of that award is now on the Crimson Tide roster to replace Alabama kicking legend Reichard. Don’t be surprised if Nicholson becomes the next great Alabama kicker.

He’s already shown he can do it by nailing kick after kick in 2023 on his way to being the Lou Groza Award winner. What other evidence needs to be presented, your honor?
