Replacement of a Knight

What started out as a pretty good poem
Just went poof and now it is gone
And since it was written on the fly
All I can do is say WTF and wave good-bye

Most of these words of rhyme and wit
Have hard copies to same time a bit
Those are from a altered mind in the rearview mirror
You will find mixed with today's dated ones here 

So even though that poem is in the wind
I will try and write another not like it again
As the knight's poem is history and now in the past
The picture remains with this and so then ends my task
