Blue Titles {Episode 2}

1–2 minutes

Top 25 – > 4-6

Listening to B.B. Kings Bluesville as we visit my picks 4 thru 6. Something about the blues sits well with me as we discuss blue titles. I don’t associate the blues with just feeling bad, and as I see when doing this I’m not alone.

#4 – Mel McDaniel – Baby’s Got Her Bluejeans On

“Lord have mercy”… This song came out in the summer of 1984 on the album “Let It Roll” not to be confused with Little Feats “Let It Roll” 1988 of the same name. Many nights were spent twirling around the dance floor and this song would pop in my head every time I noticed a pair of fine jeans walking in and out of my sight.

#5 – Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels-

Devil With a Blue Dress On…Good Golly Miss Molly

This hit came out before my time sort of as I was still at home listening to mom and dad’s phono when they weren’t around. Couldn’t get caught listening to “Rock & Roll” around pop’s. Still when this 45 rpm hit the spinner I was “groovin’”.

#6 – Derek & the Dominos – Bell Bottom Blues

Why this isn’t the first video you ask? I know right…I didn’t put these in order of like as I change my mind every time I’m asked. This short lived band rocked history with their only album which included the now famous “Layla”

Episode 2 is now in the books. Again I’m trying to be short and sugar free when presenting these video’s. I hope you enjoy my selection of videos to listen to while scrolling around. Leave a thought or two to let me know what you think. Is Blues for you?
