Leave the City
I had to leave the city or else I would die
The crime and the passion is what kept me high
Rolling on two wheels wind sweeping through my hair
I had to leave the city because I started to care
The fun and the games with sex on the lawn
In older age those games are all gone
I look back with joy and regret
Good times and bad times I can never forget
Dancers on my lap and money on my mind
Waking up tired running on 3/4 time
Going to the clubhouse to see what's going on
Looking for a pigeon to be my next con
All of that is behind me now I'm living easy in a small town
I no longer care about what's going down
Stay out of the city it's a choice I have made
Being lonely is the dues I have paid
