Baby It’s Cold Outside

Tunes for a warmer evening

A blast from the past to start this hot list out!

This single off of “Double Vision” the bands second album reached on the Billboard Hot 100 in September 1978 after being released in June of that same year.

More Fuel on the Fire

Loverboy’s third album brought us this hot number in 1983. The song peaked at #11 on the Billboard Hot 100

Turning on the Heat

Paid $15,000 to record this single for the movie “Beverly Hills Cop” in 1984. This hit reached number two on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1985.

Heat of the Night

1967 found Quincy Jones composing this tune for Ray. Peaking at #33 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #21 on the Hot Rhythm & Blues single chart. This song shows backwoods gospel flavor and is perfect for a chilly evening like tonight.

All of these tunes have a couple of things in common, the first is obvious as they all are about heat and secondly these are songs that all peaked in the top 100.
